Mirror Box, from the exhibition ’An Invitation’ at KBH Kunsthal
The work ’Mirror’ is taken from the exhibition “An invitation” and is based on the idea of open and closed spaces – the camp divided society and an all-encompassing exclusion, questioning the division into urban camps.
Through a processing of materials, I have sought to personify different thoughts about facades. Exclusions and the closed expression is the recurring image, inviting the viewer to a dialogue about change in six different installations.
KBH Kunsthal has moved from Vesterbrogade in Copenhagen to the courtyard at Krabbesholm, which has curated the exhibitions being shown in original displays since 2006.
The group exhibition ‘An invitation’ was made for KBH Kunsthal in 2011 in collaboration with Marie Boye Thomsen and Mia Mottelson.
